Evil plots, past and present
|
Shakespeare was a poet, a story-teller using the stage as his medium. Some are intimidated by Shakespeare. However, all that is required of you is to listen well to his story. You are not required to sit in awe of the Bard’s play or to drift into a trance under the spell of Shakespeare’s language.

You do not have to be an English literature major to appreciate his great play, the story of Richard, Duke of Gloucester and his evil plots to gain the throne of England and become Richard III.
The evil in this play makes Shakespeare’s writing seem like current events. If you are a Shakespeare purist, you will, nonetheless, appreciate the Actors Lab edited, dramatized reading of Richard III. You may even rise to give Shakespeare a standing ovation.
