San Miguel Playreaders present Sadie Flynn Comes to Big Oak by Norm Foster, the Canadian playwright who visited here last winter. His outrageous plays have been causing gales of laughter in theaters across Canada, the US and now Mexico.

Britt Zaist plays Sadie Flynn, freshly released from prison. She has served her time for shooting her husband and is looking for a place to call home, or so she says. She lands in Millie’s Cabin Café, run by ex-hockey player and lady’s man Tom Shaw, played by Tom Frazee. Wade Ashley plays Orson Hubble, the likeable and talkative misfit who is Tom’s only employee. Their customers are a smart-mouthed beautician, Bev Dupuis, portrayed by Judy Marzulli, and Rachel Blessington, who lives to gossip. Lola Smith plays Rachel and Marthe Fraser directs. Eli Nadel is the light and sound technician.

Doors open at 7pm, and the show begins when the house is full or at 7:30pm.
