Bill Pearlman presents his one-man show, Multiplicity Of Monologue, an anecdotal monologue with references to the theater, actors, monologues, American sport, classic plays and his own brand of spontaneous storytelling. The one-person show has become a staple of the modern theater, and practitioners as diverse as Hal Holbrook, Sandra Bernhard and Spalding Gray have given the form new dimensions of personal and historical exploration. Bill Pearlman has been performing one man pieces for some time now, and his Jung at Heart, based on the writings of C.G. Jung, had its premiere here at the Santa Ana Theater four years ago. A 50 pesos contribution is requested for the show.
Bill Pearlman has worked as an Equity and SAG actor in theaters and sound stages in several cities. He founded the Zocalo Theater in New Mexico, and has acted in shows at La Jolla Playhouse, Arizona Theater Company, and the New Mexico Repertory Theater.
He developed a form of Jung-inspired drama therapy, Archetypal Drama, and was a licensed counselor in New Mexico. His books include several volumes of poetry, the most recent Brazilian Incarnation, published by Rough Road Press. His book on theater and therapy, Characters of the Sacred, was published by Duende Press. Bill has lived in San Miguel for seven years.
