The musical group Josué Tacoronte y Skpao will present its first album Skpao, created under the artistic direction and musical composition of Josué Tacoronte Otero, on May 29.

With a new, different and fresh approach, the album Skpao brings music to life by mixing a variety of rhythms and feelings, such as those found in flamenco, Cuban, soul and even in love, happiness and life itself.

Skpao values the richness of the mix of cultures, ideologies, music and even dance. The talent, tradition and artistic development of contemporary Mexico and Latin America are the inspiration of 12 young musicians who started this sublime journey through Mexican culture four years ago.

Skpao is a pleasant, varied and refreshing show, since the singers blend different rhythms and musical styles in a colorful and contemporary harmony, adding the Caribbean air that this whole approach represents.

The repertoire is made up of traditional genres such as boleros, Guajira-son, ballads and new genres such as rumbas flamencas, soul and jazz, which blend with a mix of styles and cultures.

The music is created by string instruments such as the guitar, Cuban and other percussive and windwood instruments blending in several styles, succeeding in a richness without boundaries that balances harmony, rhythm and lyrics.
