The problem of violence against women in Mexico, and around the world, concerns all of us as a society. Imagina 2009 comprises a series of art exhibits in various locations in San Miguel that begins November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.

Dance
Endless possiblities of exploration
“Dances from Female Bodies” celebrates female bodies on stage. San Miguel serves as the meeting point for two companies—Árnica Dance-Theater from Buenos Aires and Lola Lince’s company Butoh. Both are well known for quality production, as well as for their creativity on stage. The companies both attempt to seduce the audience with their creative yet perfected techniques.
