Walking the plank: candidates declare their goals

The campaigning period for San Miguel’s four mayoral candidates ended last weekend, and on Sunday some sanmiguelenses will go to the polls to cast their votes.
|
However, many citizens have said that they will not vote or that they will nullify their votes because they do not have faith in any of the candidates: Alberto Mendoza for Nueva Alianza; Lucy Núñez jointly representing PRI (Revolucionario Institucional), PRD (Revolución Democrática), and PV (Partido Verde); Cristóbal Franyuti for PAN (Acción Nacional); and Miguel de Jesús Rangel for PT (Partido del Trabajo).
