UNAM to build research center in Parque Landeta

On January 21, José Narro Robles, the president of UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico), came to San Miguel to sign an agreement with Mayor Jesús Correa and assistant mayor Rodolfo Jurado to open a multidisciplinary research center (CIM) in Parque Landeta, located next to the botanical garden El Charco del Ingenio.

Computadores Pro Jóvenes refurbishes and repairs used computers and places them in K–9 schools in rural San Miguel. They have installed 1,000 units at 100 schools.
