Peso drops to lowest value in 15 years

On February 3, the Mexican peso reached its lowest value compared to the US dollar since 1994. On that date the exchange rate was 15 pesos to the dollar, although the highest rate paid for dollars by financial institutions was 14.48 pesos. 

Since August 2008, the value of the peso has decreased 32.5 percent.
