On behalf of the Board of Directors, staff, volunteers and, most importantly, the patients and families we serve free of charge, Hospice San Miguel would like to thank the Rotary Club of San Miguel de Allende-Midday for a recent US$11,600 grant. This grant will be used to purchase durable medical equipment for our patients’ use and a printer for office use, to produce a patient-oriented Hospice video in Spanish and pay a consulting physician to launch our Neighborhood Referral Program called Caminando Juntos. We would also like to thank the San Miguel Community Foundation for a recent grant of US$1,232.71 to be used to purchase additional durable medical equipment for the use of our patients. We are truly grateful to have the support of the wonderful people in both the Rotary Club and the Community Foundation who collectively consider our efforts to serve the residents of San Miguel worthwhile.
