Los Senderos is opening La Tiendita, and have prepared an event so people can get to know this place. Just a few kilometers from the city, you can get away from it all while noshing on an organic botana and sipping an organic mojito.
La Tiendita aims to give customers the opportunity to buy high quality products. Most of the products for sale are produced there, but they have local products such as candles and cheese, as well as books about gardening, architecture and cuisine. Some of the products listed in La Tiendita are: artisanal cheeses from Jalisco, candles from San Miguel and more than 50 vegetables—such as fennel, carrots, peppers and artichokes—herbs and flowers that are all harvested at Los Senderos. People can come and pick these vegetables from the land themselves to use in the dish they will eat in the bistro or to take home and cook to their preference.
A unique aspect of Bistro Los Senderos, up and running for just a year now, is that all the vegetables used in cooking are harvested in the same place, adding a distinctive flavor and quality.

This event also introduces the new Bistro chef Warren Weekes, a native of Tucson, Arizona. The chef offers various culinary styles, with his preparation of French and Italian dishes now influenced by Mexican cuisine. Using local products, Chef Warren will prepare inventive snacks and delicious drinks like mojitos made with organic mint.

You can try mint lemonade or a margarita along with other house specialties at the opening of La Tiendita.
Los Senderos also features an equestrian center. Here, master equestrian José Maria Fuentes Muñoz, will conduct a show to entertain the guests at the inauguration.
This is just the beginning for Los Senderos. Different plans for the future aim to include other local suppliers and make a small market for selling organic products. A thermal spa and unique luxury accommodations are part of the development now under construction. They also are planning cooking and gardening classes, with the hope of helping students make a connection between what they are eating and where that food comes from.
The event starts around 5pm and, to facilitate the arrival of the guests, Los Senderos will have transportation from the Jardín every hour starting at 4pm.
