Last Friday, Romanos Italian restaurant hosted a sneak preview of the new Arthur Murray dance studio on their garden patio. Patrons enjoyed a free salsa lesson, dance demonstrations and an evening of dancing. The chef even made an appearance on the dance floor! The event was such a huge success that it’s going to happen again next Friday night, but this time the dance style will be swing and the music will be big band and rock ‘n’ roll. Reservations are strongly recommended if you want a table. Last week’s event was sold out two days in advance (100-peso minimum order per table.)

Arthur Murray San Miguel de Allende opened this past Tuesday inside El Sindicato at Recreo 4. The studio is open Tuesdays–Fridays, 1–5pm. Students can enjoy customized dance programs and flexible scheduling, including private lessons, group classes and practice sessions/parties in El Sindicato’s huge ballroom.
