Since 1982, Baila has produced art rooted in the inspiration and techniques of dance expression. On December 14, Baila will perform in San Miguel with the three proudly Mexican world-acclaimed divas Carmen Jiménez, Frida Rebeca Chacón Hernández and María Cecilia Govela Elizondo. Live music will be performed by William White and Omar I. Córdova Azuela, musicians recognized worldwide.

Baila, with its many years of success, has accepted the challenge of trying to find answers outside the usual political tools of world governance through threats, aggression, weapons, suppression, tactics and lies. Baila is convinced that changes will come only through outreach from individuals. Baila wants to express this philosophy with its own strongly descriptive dance movements.

The show points out the wide range of different cultures, habits and misunderstandings, then leads to a melting pot which gives space to every individual in a spirit of reciprocal respect and tolerance. From obstructive chaos at the beginning, it leads to constructive, creative bundling of self-reproducing positive energies. It is not an illusion but a realistic harmony between body and brain, soul and spirit. It is a realistic model to be applied in real life. This is the great deal about Baila.

Proceeds will benefit flood victims in Tabasco and Chiapas.
