Lookin’ for love

Number 1–slender short-haired brunette, young adult, soulful eyes, very
shy but intensely loyal and loving, loves walks in quiet areas and quality time
with loved ones…
Number 2–honey blond, curvaceous, playful and eager to please, great sense of humor, has a wiggle in her walk, loves exercise and gets along with everyone…
Number 3–tall, slender, raven-haired teenager, brilliant mind, enjoys massages, kisses, wide-open spaces and socializing with others…
Number 4–macho guy, strong but tender, looks tough but is a mushy fellow looking for love…
Sounds like ads found in “personal” columns, right? Well, these are some of the dogs in the SPA looking for homes. Number one is Fanta, a very shy, sweet, medium-sized dog that becomes super loyal once she knows you. She needs to be an “only child” and requires lots of love. Camila is the honey blond who has a fantastic personality, gets along with other dogs and is a real people person (er, dog). Number three is Abi, a young Lab mix, long and lean and very anxious to find a home. She is extremely smart, learns quickly and is easy to walk. Finally, Roqui is number four—a beautiful tawny-and-white pit bull who was surrendered by his owner. He sits on command, walks slowly and gently on a leash and his favorite position is with his head in your lap, eyes closed, while he gets a tummy rub. He is gentle, quiet and gives great kisses! Truly one of the mellowest dogs I’ve ever met. These are only a few of the fabulous animals at the SPA. There are large, small and in-between dogs, San Miguel especiales and purebred
s (Vanessa the Doberman, for one), puppies, kittens, adolescents and mature dogs and cats, and they are all looking for homes! We have some of the most loving cats and beautiful kittens, all ready to go home with you. Please do consider adopting one of these animals—they will prove to be one of your best investments ever—after all, how many of your other investments give you back unqualified love for life? The SPA always gratefully accepts donations of kitten and puppy toys, dog collars and leashes, bath towels and paper towels and most especially your time as a volunteer.
