Liquor licensing revised

The appointment of attorney Jessie Ledesma Arellano as the city’s new Jefe de Fiscalización (Manager of Licensing and Permits) marks a restructuring of the department. Ledesma will supervise hours, liquor sales and licensing of nightclubs and stores that sell alcohol.

Items for his immediate attention include the revision of nightclubs and checking for under-age drinkers. All shops and stores must display their alcohol sale permit and the public is invited to report illegal sales points.
