St Paul’s Church Shows Environmental Video Series

Green Team SMA at St Paul’s Church is hosting the second week of a video series about the marvel of this planet.

Join us in community to honor the only place we can all call home, Earth. Our Planet showcases the world’s natural wonders, iconic species, and wildlife spectacles that still remain. We’re all a part of this amazing planet, but we’re changing it like never before. What is humankind doing, both intentionally and unintentionally, to God’s creation? Green Team SMA will present to the public this educational offering for our communal focus and attention.

St Paul’s Church is new to the movement to become mindful stewards of the Earth which has been committed to our care. By strengthening our network of fellowship with our local community, with the interfaith community, and with the world, we can pursue a more sustainable environment for future generations.

Beauty inspires everyone. Sir David Attenborough narrates powerful landscapes that we all can appreciate, familiar places we have traveled to or one day want to. The series addresses the controversial issues for debate over the future efforts necessary to conserve our environment.

Animals and their habitat are shrinking like never before. In the past 40 years, human beings have been consuming resources at an outrageous level and have given very little back in return. This footage is subtle, as it focuses on our human impact on the environment and how climate change impacts all living creatures, since they are interconnected through evolution for survival. The imagery in this footage has been inspirational to many people around the world.

The interior at St Paul’s Church has been renovated, our website has been updated, and our parish is growing, with a children’s Sunday school that begins again in September. For the moment, we invite you to come to this event and get acquainted with us and some new directions. Look for our Green Team Blog Posts and for future upcoming events. Peace on the planet.
