Low-Cost Kids Athletic Classes Starting Up Throughout City and Rural Communities

The municipal government has initiated a program with the objective of instilling children with universal values through sports, leisure, and recreation.
The Municipal Sports Commission, known as COMUDE, invites you to participate in its 2019 summer classes for children that will take place at the Unidad Deportiva, in neighborhoods, and in rural communities Monday, July 16–Friday, August 9.
At Unidad Deportiva (Salida a Celaya, K 44), from 9am to 1pm, Monday through Friday, kids will be able to take soccer, basketball, and tennis classes or participate in recreational games like volleyball.
Signups will begin with an announcement posted in the Unidad Deportiva offices. The cost is 200 pesos. A medical certificate of good health and a permission letter from the child’s parent or guardian is required. Class sizes are limited.
The neighborhood classes will be held at Infonavit La Luz, Parque Clouthier, Infonavit Malanquin, Barrio de la Cuevitas, Colonia San Rafael, La Aurora, Colonia La Lomita y Fraccionamiento Jardines. Soccer and basketball lessons for boys and girls ages 4-12 will be offered at each site 9–11am, Monday–Friday, starting July 15.
Class teachers will handle signups at the location where the classes are held. The cost is 100 pesos. A permission letter from a parent or guardian is required.

The rural community summer classes will be held in the communities of Los Galvanes, Atotonilco, Cruz del Palmar, Agustín González, Alonso Yáñez, La Huerta. San Marcos. El Paderon. Los Rodríguez, Cerritos, Puente del Carmen, Puerto de Nieto, and Támbula.
Starting July 15, soccer, basketball, and volleyball classes for boys and girls aged 4–12 will be offered 9–11am, Monday–Friday, at these sites.
Class teachers will be in charge of signups at the location where the classes are held. The cost is 50 pesos. A permission letter from a parent or guardian is required.
