Hello Springtime! Bazaar of Alternative Design Is Back at Centro Cultural Allende

Bazar Feb 299

By Jade Arroyo

Meet young Mexican talent this weekend in the spring edition of the Bazaar of Alternative Design, featuring an abundance of handmade items, including fashion, art, designer jewelry, textiles, and handmade mezcal.

For five years, the bazaar has been a venue for young Mexican designers and entrepreneurs to introduce their innovative products in an environment that supports the Made in México consumer movement. Bazaar has been faithful to this movement, displaying the work of more than 200 independent designers, representing the best emerging design in the country in a variety of categories—from footwear to furniture. Designers come from San Miguel, León, and México City as well as the states of Guadalajara, Aguascalientes, Veracruz, Querétaro, and more.

The Bazaar’s goal is for people to believe in the magic of fashion again and for the obsession with conspicuous consumption in México to be slowed through greater support of independent Mexican designers.

You will find fair and affordable prices matched with high quality at this event on March 30 and 31 at the Centro Cultural Allende. We are pet- and kid-friendly!
