Sisters Snowflake and Thunder (about 2-3/4 years old) and sisters Jazmin and Nuni (about three years old) have something in common. Each is bonded to her sister.

Traumatized in the past by an adoption which separated them, Snowflake stopped eating and Thunder’s behavior changed. All of this was magically fixed when Thunder came back to the Sociedad Protectora de Animales (SPA) and they were gleefully reunited.

Thunder and Snowflake are medium/large, friendly, affectionate, smart, playful Labrador Retriever mixes. However, Snowflake is wary of strangers and would be best in a home without children or other pets (except, of course, Thunder).

Nuni and Jazmin enjoy running and playing together in the SPA dog exercise area. When going for a walk outside the SPA, Nuni acts as Jazmin’s security blanket. The world of cars and strangers makes Jazmin nervous, but she’s more inclined to move forward if Nuni is by her side. Nuni is friendly and energetic, and Jazmin—timid at first—is very gentle and sweet once she feels comfortable. They are both large dogs.

We hope that these sisters are not separated from each other upon adoption. Meet them and all our available dogs and cats at the SPA, Los Pinos 7, 152-6124, any day, Monday–Saturday, 11–2.
