The Waldorf School presents: “A Day of Love”

By Louise Gilliam

The Waldorf School is delighted to welcome soprano Alicia Rappoport, whose songs of radiant expressive flight and warmth have fascinated audiences internationally.

Rappoport will perform in concert on February 14 and on February 17 at Casa Europa. This is a wonderful way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with your loved ones while helping our school continue to provide a quality education for children in our community.

The Waldorf School in Atotonilco is a school that many children enjoy without textbooks, without exams, without memorization, and where they discover mathematics by the dividing cakes. Arbol de Vida translates as “The Tree of Life” and uses a teaching method created at the beginning of the twentieth century by the philosopher Rudolf Steiner. The curriculum is based on these studies and offers a holistic education that takes into account the child’s intellectual, emotional, and physical aspects.

Interest in Waldorf education is growing throughout the world among families that seek a more humane education for their children, one that understands their contribution to the future of humanity.

The cocktail hour begins at 6pm on February 14 and at 4pm. Tickets are 450 pesos and are available at Casa Europa, San Francisco 23, or by calling 415 121 7277. Go to to visit our website and for directions to the Waldorf School.
