EFT Tapping Provides a Way to Meet New Year’s Resolutions

When we turn the page on the calendar to a brand new year, many of us get inspired to set resolutions and make positive changes in our lives. But sustaining that motivation throughout the year (or even for the first month of the year) can be a big challenge.

One of the most common New Year’s resolutions, or goals or intentions, is to either lose a few pounds, to start eating healthier foods, or get on a better exercise program. And, unfortunately, these can be the hardest intentions to follow through on!

There are lots of reasons for this, and one of them is that food, eating, and cravings often have emotional roots, some going all the way back to childhood. Another reason it can be hard to make lasting changes is confusion and misunderstandings about what choices actually are healthy for your own individual biochemistry. The truth is that there is no one diet or eating plan that is ideal for everyone. We are all unique and need to understand what works for us—both with food choices and movement or exercise.

With all these complications, it’s tempting to just give up on the goal and go back to what is familiar and comfortable. But if you’re ready to end that cycle once and for all, you’re ready to learn and use EFT tapping to help you achieve your goals and intentions.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is an easy-to-learn energy-healing modality that has been proven to reduce food cravings for good. It is a simple technique that involves tapping on specific meridian points with your fingers while talking aloud about the issue you are working with. A few rounds of tapping will reduce your stress hormones and allow you to think more clearly and make wiser choices around food and anything else in your life.

A regular tapping practice can improve your self-confidence and body image, as well as reduce or eliminate old emotional barriers that are causing you to hold onto extra weight. And even if you don’t need or want to lose any weight, the tapping will help you to feel good about yourself and motivate you to make choices that support your health and well-being.
