Please Help Get Us Out of Here!

By Jayn Corral

Tina and Delphi finally decided it was time to have a frank discussion with me. Tina spoke for both of them. “Don’t get me wrong. We think the SPA is a great place to be, especially if you were rescued from a horrible situation like we were, but for cats that are introverts, it can be a bit stressful. I, for one, love to sit in the sun, enjoying the cool breeze and having my hair combed by my human visitors. But I don’t like dealing with those crazy boys who want to chase me and ruin my day.

Delphi is a little princesa. I admit she is all that I am not. She’s gorgeous and thin with long flowing hair, but she feels the same way I do. She wants her own house, her own food, and her own people. Gypsy and Mika agree with us. “Please! Help get us out of here,
they say, “so we can relax and enjoy our lives!”

It is so interesting at the SPA. We have cats who have been adopted and who were so miserable in their new homes that they came back to us. Although we’re not ruling a forever home out for them, they will probably be permanent SPA residents, better suited for a virtual adoption (see our website for more information) than an actual one.

Then we have cats, like Tina, Delphi, Gypsy, and Mika who just want a nice home where they can feel comfortable and will be cared for and loved without all the relationship issues of communal living. Come talk to them at the SPA, Monday–Saturday, Los Pinos 7, 152 6124, between 11 and 2. Let them convince you themselves.
