Ceramic artists Tip Toland and Richard Notkin at Casa Europa

Ceramic artists Tip Toland and Richard Notkin will discuss their art, showing images describing the arc of their careers. Tip Toland, one of the most respected and loved sculptors in the United States, has taught art, ceramics and sculpture for 37 years. Tip has been awarded numerous national and international awards, residencies, fellowships and grants. She has been published in multiple books and magazines and has been exhibiting in galleries and museums for 37 years. Her work is in public and private national and international collections.

Richard Notkin has held visiting artist positions and conducted over 300 workshops throughout the world. His teapots and ceramic sculptures have been exhibited internationally and are in more than 70 public collections. He has won numerous fellowships and awards for his ceramics. He is currently a studio artist in Vaughn, Washington.

The presentations will be at Casa Europa, Wednesday, April 4, at 6pm, San Francisco 23.
