Magic Town Music Festival is back for its fifth annual weekend of concerts, bringing folk, rock, soul, country, Latin funk, reggae, and blues to San Miguel de Allende. Experience a memorable weekend of live music, food and drink, raffles, art, and tons of fun in three venues

Performing at this festival will be the Maylee Thomas Band, Pilaseca, Jon Christopher Davis, Katua, Jim Scarborough, Los Roadrunners, Continental Blues Band, Ana Red. and others. Cheetah Lee and Paco Rivera will return as masters of ceremonies.

The festival directly supports Centro Infantíl de los Ángeles, which benefits working mothers, their children, and their families in San Miguel.

Highlights of This Year’s Magic Town Music Festival!

On March 8 at 7pm, the festival will host a VIP kickoff party at a private home on Sollano, featuring beautiful views of Centro and the Rio Laja valley. On hand will be food from some of San Miguel’s best restaurants: The Restaurant, Buenos Aires Bistro, Linnea Rufo Events, and Smoked ’n’ Low. Ticket sales are limited to 125 guests.

On March 9, many of the festival’s musicians will participate in jam sessions at Santos Resto Bar, 7 Suspiros. 200 pesos is the recommended donation. Music starts at 9pm.

Festival Day is Saturday, March 10, at “Plaza San Arvino,” known affectionately to locals as The Goose. Doors open at 2pm, with music lasting until 9pm, immediately followed by an onsite after-party.

Centro Infantíl San Pablo and Casa de los Ángeles joined forces in 2017 as Centro Infantil de los Ángeles. Both organizations were founded as a safe haven for single moms and serve some of the San Miguel community’s poorest families.

Centro Infantil de los Ángeles receives no government support but instead relies on the support of the committed community. All net proceeds of Magic Town Music Festival events will be donated to the Centrol Infantil, , a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. See centroinfantil.org for more info.

Mexico, the US (through the Love Life Foundation), and Canada. The festival brings a unique, world-class music lineup to San Miguel and a quality and diversity of music “not often heard” in this part of the world! Now, more than ever, this collaboration, in the spirit of international fellowship, respect, and trust, reminds us that our cultures can do great things together, “unidos en amistad!”

Come have some big fun and help us support this important cause!
