Based on the book by former Daily Show head writer David Javerbaum, An Act of God was heralded as “like the Bible narrated by Mel Brooks on crack-laced manna.” This production by acclaimed director Alan Jordan explores religion’s influence on society’s most poignant prejudices.

An Act of God stars Erik Zavala as the Creator himself with help from two “Genesistants,” Rodrigo Demian and Sebastian Vallin, the archangels Gabriel and Michael who, together, offer hilarious and painfully accurate commentary on Western society’s shortcomings. Charles Isherwood of The New York Times raves, “It’s an hour and a half of comedy heaven.”
