Argentinian Troubadour Luis Lujan

By David Johanssen

Marking the debut of his album Destino, Argentinian songwriter Luis Lujan presents a series of original songs for the very first time here in San Miguel. Among his compositions depicting life experiences, this show will include a series of songs created in collaboration with Carlos Moyano del Barco, an Argentinian poet widely popular in South America. With a wide range of influences and a big vocal range, Luis seeks to create an intimate experience between himself and his audience by combining the vintage and the modern together to make unique sounds that will transport audiences to a magic world of beautiful melodies.

Luis Lujan, will showcase his original music in San Miguel de Allende at Shelter Theater on Saturday, October 28, and Saturday, November 4, at 7pm. Tickets are available at the Biblioteca tienda, Tesoros, as well as online at “Luis’s gorgeous tenor voice with just the right balance of vibrato will thrill you to the core along with his guitar accompaniment on each song,” says the Vallarta Tribune.

On Friday, October 20, at 5pm, Shelter will present Extreme World: Juárez, Mexico. Ross Kemp heads to the Mexican city of Juárez, where he meets a former high-ranking cartel member, who explains the inner workings of the organizations and the depths to which their influence reaches. After the documentary, we will discuss possible solutions to these complex issues.

On Wednesday, October 25, at 5pm, we will continue our series on Perspectives in Non-Duality hosted by Ravi Nathwani. This series of videos and discussions will focus on exploring how non-duality can be helpful in living life in an apparently “dualistic” world in a creative and practical manner, increasing levels of peace in the mind while reducing the causes of suffering. Come and learn about universal consciousness and the true fabric of reality. This series with Ravi will also continue on Wednesday, November 1, at 5pm.
