Bohemia Viva is Back!

Bohemia Viva-9

It has been two years since the music, artistry, and passion of Andrea Mottura and Luis Lujan, also known as the dynamic, bilingual, Argentinean singing sensation Bohemia Viva, were last in San Miguel. Since their sold-out performances here in 2015, they have entertained crowds in Italy, Mexico, the US, and Argentina. Now they are back!

We are so excited to be producing two intimate house concerts of music and artistry for them in September. Each concert will have a capacity for only 30 people. They typically perform in front of much larger crowds. Their recent concert in Venice, Italy, with Phil Collins’ sound engineer at the helm, was attended by more than 500 people.

Their music has been described as “a musical style you won’t soon forget. Beautiful acoustic Latin rhythms combined with rich, sensual harmonies in a unique art-filled style. Bohemia Viva lights up the stage!” If staging and logistics at The Studio Space permits, Andrea has promised to begin each concert from the balcony, singing a song from Evita, the 1976 Andrew Lloyd Webber musical about Argentinian political leader Eva Perón. This is an experience not to be missed! Bohemia Viva will have their two CDs and a CD/DVD set available for sale at the shows.

For the first time ever, Luis will be showing his artwork during the concert and at an exhibition one week later, also at The Studio Space. About his art, Luis says, “I have always wondered how my music would look if I could put it on paper. The series includes pieces made in the US, Italy, Mexico and, of course, Argentina. I ask you to enjoy these simple lines hoping they will invoke something in your spirits, which is my only goal. I sign my drawings as Lyton as an homage to Oscar Lyton Balduin. I wanted to pay tribute to him for teaching me to look and for encouraging me to discover the simple and complex things that happen in life.”

These two concerts will certainly sell out, so please visit to reserve your 200 pesos ticket. If you prefer to see Luis’ work apart from the concerts, please join us on September 10 from 5–7pm for an artist’s reception at The Studio Space.

You will love having the chance to see, hear, and connect with these magical performers in San Miguel! All are welcome!
