The International Convention of Coexistence and Universal Brotherhood that takes place yearly in San Miguel de Allende, promotes the bonds of coexistence and friendship between more than 30 different countries in the world. About 40 ambassadors participated, representing their culture, ideology, religion, and customs.

Currently in our city there are more than 60 nationalities, according to the festival, and more than 100 civil associations trying to create social change in different areas.

The objective of this festival is the preservation of culture and history, emphasizing that San Miguel is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and active in the twinning of the universal culture of Mexico with the world.

During this meeting, artistic and cultural representations from every continent are organized, offering events that are open to the public, such as folkloric dancing, concerts and recitals, pictorial and photographic exhibitions, fashion shows, and additional cultural expressions from the respective participating countries. For a week, the city becomes “The World Culture House,” with diplomatic participation of different countries. Atención attended the inaugural cocktail where the ambassadors were welcomed.
