On April 27, Dôce 18 Concept House celebrated its first anniversary with an exclusive cocktail party where friends and relatives, along with all the companies involved,  celebrated the success of this project. More than 250 special guests, friends, and family gathered to spend a special evening together. The surprise of the evening was the artistic undertaking by the Mexican muralist, Esteban Fuentes de María, who was responsible for painting the wall of The Kitchen to mark the occasion. A large wall was chosen as a blank canvas, and the Mexican muralist worked on it for more than four days, including during the cocktail party. He put the last touches on the mural while all the guests were present. De María has made birds his visual obsession, and he created an image of a flock of birds that was not only artistic, but also creative, illustrating his love of birds.

During the anniversary celebrations that weekend there were other activities, such as a raffle for which all the money that was raised was donated to San Miguel de Allende’s Red Cross. The winners of the raffle were awarded a two-night stay at L’Otel, a photograph by the resident artist Pepe Soho, and two baskets of products sold in the boutiques. In addition, there was a display of the new collection from the renowned Mexican designer, Carla Fernández.
