Seeking Sponsorship for Student to Attend University
By Robin Loving
Last week readers learned here of 6 of the 45 students who are competing for the 25 university scholarships Jóvenes Adelante hopes to offer this fall. To do that, we will need sponsors for each student. Sponsorships cost about US$4/day over what is typically a five-year university career, four years plus an internship.
Here are additional student profiles. While we cannot guarantee a sponsor a certain student, all of our potential students are local honors students with aspirations to break the cycles of historic economic disparity into which they have been born. If you are interested in sponsorship, Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org, president of Jóvenes Adelante.
Our sponsorships are tax deductible in the US, Mexico, and Canada, and our students have an 85 percent graduation rate—higher than in the US, Mexico, or Canada.
