Yoga, meditation, and art have been used for ages to explore and experience the true nature of the self. The intention of this workshop is to help recognize the inner space of stillness that is always there, within you—your true essence.
In this workshop we uniquely use these three together to create a safe space in which:
- You will practice yoga postures to open and strengthen the body to prepare the mind for concentration.
- Through guided meditation you will learn to become a witness to your inner storms and be undisturbed regardless of whatever is happening in your outer world.
- Followed by these two practices, you will be gently guided in the visual expression of your internal vision.
- We will share what we have learned, and you will leave with practical ways to integrate what you have experienced into your daily life.
Jen Kagan is a passionate practitioner and teacher of Iyengar yoga. “I have personally experienced how yoga provides a stability and spaciousness from which to look deep within. My aim is to empower students to uncover their own inner strength and wisdom.”
Ana Madero is an experienced art and meditation teacher. “Since I came to live in SMA, I realized that I wanted to take my art teaching to a much deeper level, helping people experience art as a meditative, spiritual practice.
