Ceramic Sculpture Show Opens
By Cynthia Claus
Sher Davidson’s show of her new collection of sculptures entitled “Mi Pueblo Mexicano” opens Sunday, March 5 from 2–4:30pm at the Bordello Gallery, 19 Organos. Showing with the sculptures will be the paintings of Ruben Morales, which have graced the gallery walls for several years. Morales, a Morelia artist, paints the people of México. His paintings inspired Davidson to create her sculptures.

Bordello Gallery at Casa de la Noche
Barbara Poole, owner of the Bordello Gallery located at the Casa de la Noche, was delighted to introduce the two artists and to encourage them to show their work together. The paintings and sculptures show people engaged in everyday activities from the man carrying tapetes on his back, to the women selling flowers.
Please join us for Sher’s opening, where light refreshments will be served on the patio. The artist will be present and looks forward to sharing her work. A percentage of all sales will be donated to one of Sher’s favorite NGO’s, Mujeres en Cambio, which gives scholarships to young girls to help them continue their education.
