Smile you are in San Miguel
By Jade Arroyo
We attended the third anniversary of Cent’Anni, last Thursday. Despite the sensible day chosen, everyone was up long after bedtime and dancing and toasting for 100 years of health and happiness with much blue curacao.
The party began around nine o’clock, with the presentation of live bands and jamming with guests. The bands that played were the Rabeats, High Definition, Rakun, Los Roadrunners, Anderson, Atomic, Black María, and Todos Santos before an international San Miguel audience that filled the dance floor.
Cent’Anni is a place with a contemporary atmosphere. It embraces the food and celebration of Italian culture, offering delicious fare (our favorite pizzas), a bar and a very cool lounge space, a terrace, and a piano bar. The very popular live music nights are also a forum for new musical talents.
Cent’Anni thanks its sponsors Chela Libre, Wigo Mexico, Centennial Tequila, and Stella Artois. Cent’Anni is located on Canal 34, open from 1pm–2am.
