Little by little, the small city of San Miguel de Allende is attracting more and more fashion lovers and innovative creations. It is not surprising because here creativity can be felt in the air, and people have the freedom to be themselves; this is a city where creativity is embraced.
We attended the first Fashion & Design Night, a collective fashion event that took place at El Zaguán Bed & Art on January 18, organized by Isabel Castrejón, Ella Mae McKee in production, and Zachary Popovsky in photography
The show featured the most recent collections of designers Carla Fernández, internationally recognized for clothing inspired by the geometry of the indigenous loom; Jose Yañez, presenting an ethereal and transparent collection; Corchea with cheerful and relaxed clothing; Jade Mexican Design with rich embroidered pieces in contemporary silhouettes; boots and leather goods from Cock of the Walk; and the imaginative jewelry of Crystal Victoria and Hart.
This event brought the public and the creators together and supported the Mexican product. If you want to know more about the designers, follow their pages on Facebook.
