Vinos + Tapas (wines plus tapas) is a restaurant with contemporary flair that proposes one of the best gastronomic combinations ever invented: wine and food in small portions. Directed by chef Stefania Chávez, the menu changes according to the season, based on the seasonal produce. It also touches different cuisines: Mediterranean, Greek, Arabic, and French.

In addition, it is a good place to delve into the wine culture. It has a well-stocked cava that specializes in Mexican wines, and there are also Spanish, Chilean, and Italian wines available by the glass or by the bottle to take home. The cava is maintained at a suitable temperature, and methods for the correct conservation of the wine are followed.

You can find a daily selection of tapas and pintxos (Basque-style small plate), such as Spanish tortillas, Greek dishes, pork ribs in ginger sauce, mussels in wine, escargot, and octopus.

There are promotions every day. For example, on Tuesdays the tapas are two for one, Wednesdays are the ideal day for lovers of gin, Thursdays are mussel days, Fridays are for martinis, and Sunday you get a free mimosa with your brunch. Parking is available.


Pumpkin Cream Soup from Vinos + Tapas

(4 servings)



4 cups of pumpkin cut in cubes

1/2 bar of butter

2 tablespoons of sugar

4 cups milk

1/2 cup caramelized walnuts

Salt and pepper to taste



Stir the pumpkin with butter and sugar, add the milk and boil until the pumpkin is cooked. Blend all until you get a creamy texture, return to a saucepan over medium heat, and season with salt and pepper. Serve and sprinkle with caramelized nuts.
