Morgana Love, an international soprano smiles at life and returns home, not just to present the first concert in the Ángela Peralta Theater after its restoration, but also to show off her new project, Dos Vidas (Two Lives).

In a press conference, the singer, who defines her genre as “popera,” said that she is happy for several reasons, among them to return home to present one of her greatest life projects and to offer the CD that the audiences have been asking for. The album will include 13 songs that go from opera arias to reggae and electro to pop. She wrote seven of the tracks herself.

The metamorphic soprano told Atención that she wrote the lyrics and music for seven tracks of her album that will be accompanied by musicians from the National Conservatory of Music. One of the singles is I Love You, a song that she wrote in 2012, while her life was in tremendous change in Thailand. That song is autobiographical, addressed to a love she left in Mexico.

To make the CD possible, Morgana Love has decided to use, an online platform, through which the audiences can purchase her music in advance, as well as tickets to concerts and other items. She expects to collect the necessary amount in two months to get into the studio and start recording the lyrics and music for the CD.

The launching of the “Two Lives” campaign will be this concert, featuring the guitar of Xavier Gibler; the piano of Mauro Ledesma, the choir from Opera San Miguel and other musicians and singers.
