Two Tongues is an open group in the city for those interested in practicing their English or Spanish with native speakers of both languages, in a relaxed, casual, and inclusive atmosphere. It is not by chance that they were an Australian (Jon Baskett), a New Zealander (Teu Campbell) and a Sanmiguelense (David Barajas) who undertook this initiative that, to date and after 12 sessions, has managed to bring together a community of more than 70 members from different latitudes of the world.

The sessions are free, held every Wednesday at 7pm at Inside Café, located on the top floor of Insurgentes 66, across from Santa Ana church, where in addition to coffee, tea, and bagels, you will find a bookstore, a small library, and cultural events that are carried out in collaboration with La Expendeduría and with the support of Fundación-Colección EPPCI.

According to its directors, Inside Café works under the same premise of collaboration and coexistence. It is a new space in San Miguel de Allende that seeks to understand culture from the complexity of human relationships through a spirit of collaboration and dialogue. “It is to understand that there is no inside or outside, but a whole to belong to: together.” In addition to recreational and cultural activities, this place offers excellent coffee from Huitzilán, Puebla, prepared impeccably by the barista. Inside Café is open from Wednesday to Sunday. Find more information at
