Some of the musicians will be familiar names to music lovers in San Miguel, and all have performed at shows and private events in town. It’s a privilege to have them share the same stage and breathe new life into the work of Carlos Santana, a Mexican-American musical icon who even today continues to express, through his guitar, his unique and exciting brand of rhythmic fusion.
This concert will be a celebration of great music and a nostalgic look back at the Woodstock era and a time when classic hits like “Oye Como Va” and “Black Magic Woman” dominated the airwaves and became the personal soundtrack to so many lives, cementing the reputation of Carlos Santana—a multiple Emmy winner who learned music as a child under the tutelage of his father, a Mexican mariachi—as one of the world’s greatest guitarists (according to Rolling Stone Magazine).
Don’t miss it on November 12! Tickets available at the Biblioteca and Teatro Santa Ana. General admission 200 pesos.
