Brújula Flamenco Dinámico started in 2014, created by Jose Ma Valdés and Nashieli Buelna, who is also co-director, choreographer, and performer of Danza Viral Colectivo Escénico. Brújula is the result of much collaboration between the two directors through the years, sharing direction, choreographies, performances, and projects, performing in Spain, Mexico, and Germany.
San Miguel de Allende is a benchmark for the company since its first staging under the name of “Brújula” was held in 2014 in our city with acclaimed flamenco theater piece “Sueño Mexicano” (Mexican Dream), which was later presented on representative stages such as the Theater of Dance in Mexico City.
“Tablao Sin Derecho” is not a conventional tablao. It has the peculiarity that the framework, situations, and artists are not the usual. This originality is the hallmark of the company, which focuses on interdisciplinarity.
The great dance performances of Nashieli Buelna and José Ma Valdés will be accompanied by renowned musicians: guitarist Anwar Miranda from Mexico City, who has performed in Mexico Spain, Italy, Canada, and Ecuador; percussionist Laloc Vallejo from Guanajuato, who has appeared on numerous stages in Mexico, Romania, France, and the US; and Mario Diaz, who has shared the stage with the renowned Spanish ballet of Mercedes Amaya, among others.
