This project was created to provide a space for Mexican creative effervescence. Since 2013, the Alternative Design Bazaar has been an itinerant open space in San Miguel de Allende for art and independent design.

Our mission is to promote and extol “Made in Mexico” and the work of emerging Mexican designers. We aim as well to promote and achieve fair trade, sustainability, and social responsibility and to provide a forum for independent Mexican artists. We invite artists and the public to join the movement of fashion consumption and national design and welcome any creative project with a proposal for innovative design.

This bazaar, on October 29 and 30, celebrates our third anniversary and synchronizes with our favorite holidays, Halloween and Day of the Dead, and all of the cultural and artistic activities that abound in the city at this time. We await you with a refreshing take on shopping and cultural exchange.

We thank our designer, Karen Ocampo, for making our poster; the art is an homage to the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Let’s do the time warp again!

Free entry. Pet friendly. Music. Gastronomy.
