SPA Puppy Extravaganza: August 20, 2016! (Part 2)
By Megan Gabel
We have more irresistible puppies for you to meet on Puppy Extravaganza, Saturday, August 20! Last week, we told you about Speckle, Tria, Michelle, and India. This week, meet Lani, Snowflake, Thunder, and Marisol. Remember that for this event, which will be during our regular adoption hours of 11–2, all puppy adoptions will be reduced from 400 pesos to 300 pesos (includes vaccinations, sterilization, and deworming). If you mention “Extravaganza” before August 20, we will honor the discount.
A little more than four months old, Lani is very sweet and lovable, mild-mannered, and playful, but calm. She loves other dogs, people, and venturing outside for a walk. She’d be perfect with an owner who wants to enjoy a stroll with friends and their dogs.
Sisters Snowflake and Thunder, a little more than four and one-half months old, are curious, good with other dogs and kids, smart, friendly, and very loving and affectionate. They’re also calm, quite content to sprawl in your lap and relax while watching other puppies do the roughhousing.
Almost four months old, Marisol is the happiest, most easygoing puppy ever! Despite her difficult beginning, her tail never stopped wagging. She is an amazing little survivor, sweet, playful, affectionate, and spunky.
Please come to the SPA, check out our puppies, and take one or more home with you. You can see all our available cats and dogs on our website spasanmiguel.org—the “Adopt Me” pages. How about volunteering at the SPA? Get in shape, build muscle tone, and increase stamina by walking dogs. Looking for less vigorous participation but the same amount of warm, fuzzy, good feelings? Get to know our cats, kittens, and puppies. They are always eager for attention and love. Not only will you enjoy yourself, but you will help socialize our approximately 100 resident cats and dogs. The more people our animals get to meet, the better it is for them. We’ve had a number of minors show up to volunteer and have had to send them home to get volunteer agreements signed by their parents. They are very disappointed that they can’t stay and just jump right in to start playing with our wonderful cats and dogs. Our volunteer information sheets in Spanish and English include information about age requirements and can be downloaded from our website spasanmiguel.org/how-you-can-help/volunteer/ Volunteer /adoption hours are 11–2, Monday–Saturday, Los Pinos 7, 152 6124. We and our resident cats and dogs look forward to meeting you at the SPA!
