This beautiful and proud historic building from the 18th century will house Mexican independent designs and creative proposals on August 13 and 14.

In addition to proving a space to young entrepreneurs for the display and sale of independent Mexican designs, there will be a forum with various cultural activities, such as music, theater, and live presentations. Photographer and scholar Flor Acosta will give an interactive lecture at the Bazaar about the creative process of photography in San Miguel de Allende. Several of the participating designers and their models will give a live presentation to discuss their inspiration and creative process. Microteatro San Miguel will participate with several interventions or happenings, and live music will be presented by DJ Ben Ham. There will also be mojigangas created by the artist and cartonero, Marco Bautista. All activities will be open to the public.

As part of the fundraising, there will be a raffle of products (with a value of 500 pesos) donated by designers and sponsors. Tickets at a cost of 50 pesos will be available at the front desk. All proceeds will benefit the educational fund.

Thank sponsors for their support and the staff for their energy and good vibes for this project. We also thank our resident designer, Karina (aka Mosqueda Machuca), who did our beautiful posters displaying poet Sor Juana.

We are a self-managed organization that aims to promote fair trade and encourage collaboration as a strategy for social cohesion.

Since November 2013, the bazaar has been a space in our town to promote independent art and design. This project was born with the aim of providing a space for the creative ferment that exists in our country.

We invite artists and the public to join the movement of responsible consumption and fashionable and national design. We embrace any creative project with an innovative design proposal.
