Friends, Art, and Summer
Smile, You Are in San Miguel
By Jade Arroyo
El Zaguán is a quiet, sophisticated space of simple elegance. In a project articulated by the Castrejon-Pascacio family, El Zaguán is an enterprise through which they share with their clients and friends three of the most enjoyable things in life: art, food, and the pleasure of hosting. El Zaguán is housed within a beautiful colonial house in Centro. It consists of three areas: a boutique hotel, a gallery, and a restaurant.
In this place the sense of community and friendship is very strong, deriving from the various events they throw throughout the year, which revolve around art, objets d’art, and food. Last week there was a special Afternoon with friends, featuring hor d’oeuvres and cocktails by Vicki Challancin, the presentation of fine jewelry by Crystal Victoria Designs, and a concert of Native American flute by Cherie Johns. You can see Crystal Victoria’s collection at El Zaguán’s gallery.
El Zaguán Bed and Art is located at Zacateros 12, Centro Histórico.
