Black Charlotte Cabaret

Black Charlot Cabaret

By José Luis Mendoza Aubert

The Linea Vertical and the Collective Allende La Cultura performing arts school and training center presents for the first time in San Miguel de Allende the multidisciplinary show Black Charlotte Cabaret.

Multidisciplinary Show
Black Charlotte Cabaret
Tue, Jul 19, 7pm
Teatro Ángela Peralta
100 pesos general admission

After its extraordinarily successful season in the state of Querétaro, we can finally get to see the show in our town and be thrilled by its fascinating variety of numbers and disciplines. This work is inspired by the typical atmosphere of a 1920s cabaret, but it is tinged with a bold fusion of circus arts, theatricality, contemporary dance, aerial acrobatics, and cutting- edge musical fusions that contrast the traditional cancan with unforgettable tunes from Billie Holiday and Offenbach. The evening is masterfully conceived, choreographed, and directed by the performing arts teacher Carlota Dessire Bardullas.

This show is highly recommended for children and teenagers, although it is for all age groups. It is definitely a must-see show that will keep you young and young at heart for a long time. San Miguel de Allende is the starting point of its 2016 tour. We will have only one performance on Tuesday, July 19, at 7pm at the Ángela Peralta Theater. Tickets are 100 pesos general admission, available at the box office.
