Melting Pot

The multiculturalism that feeds the city and our day-to-day lives is what makes our small San Miguel level with the top cities in the world. Let’s try one day with a global flavor!

To start the day in the best mood, try the sweetness and sophistication of El Petit Four (Hernandez Macias 99). Here a bakery with European flair makes delicious French pastries. Try the classic chocolate bread, an éclair with cream, or fruit tarts, combined with an espresso for the ideal combo breakfast.

When finished, if you’re looking for unique presents for your loved ones, visit the general store (Pila Seca 3). Defining this shop is not easy, but we can describe it as “an eclectic mix of clothing, jewelry, accessories, and decoration.”

Up the road is the Indian restaurant, Bhaji (Cuadrante 34). Do not be fooled by the small appearance of the place— the food is sensational. There are several options for vegetarians, and curries vary in spiciness and can be adjusted according to your wishes. If you get very thirsty, try a glass of chilled lassi. This drink made of yogurt is typical of India and super-refreshing.

After a day full of exciting experiences, anyone can feel tired, and a drink and some laughs are appropriate. Bar Berlin is a contemporary, elegant place where you can relax for a while. It is a good place to meet people. There are many friendly, talkative people at the bar. The bar offers everything from wine to tequila to all types of cocktails. If you fancy dinner, there are delicious German entrees.
