The monthly flea market La Pulga has turned five years old, bringing amusement, friendship, and good shopping. To celebrate this birthday, a great party was thrown with a live DJ, open mic, music, and dancing, seasoned by good food and drinks.

The quintessential place for a Sunday mood, La Pulga is a good spot to spend an afternoon meeting old and new friends, without pressure or pretension.

Who is not fond of going to Los Pinos party hall on a Pulga Sunday? We all love knickknacks; we love the clothes, the little necklaces, the cute coffee cups.

Even if our closets are at the point of bursting, we always find something that “we have to have.”

It’s difficult to enumerate the things you can find here, because you just never know. You must attend with eyes wide open and a good sense of the bargain hunt. You can find vintage clothing, furniture, accessories, massages, jewelry, and crafts. You may find either a great 50 pesos deal or a treasure for a few thousand pesos. It depends on the merchant and the day.

Another way to enjoy La Pulga is to dare to have a table, sell your old things and make room for new ones, or show that great art piece you’ve been working on.

La Pulga is held at Salón Los Pinos once a month, usually around the 15th. It takes places from 11am through 4pm.
