Addressing the Issues of Local Youth

By Robin Loving

Many local youth are mandated to go to school but have no transportation between their communities and the communities where their schools are located at the times that school is in session.  That leaves them without school and without work, a condition known locally as ‘ni ni,’ neither in school or at work.  What programs are in place for these youth? That will be the topic at Rotary Tuesday, May 17, at 12:30 p.m. at Hotel Mision, Salida a Queretaro 1.  The presentation will be free and in English.

The municipal youth institute generates activities for San Miguel´s youth ti enable them to achieve a better quality of life in order to become enthusiastic responsible participative, committed citizens.  Leading that office is Licenciado Ricardo Trujillo Zavala, who formerly led youth programs in Puebla as well as in San Miguel.

Rotary unites friends, community leaders and global citizens for the common good.  For more information, contact President David McGinnis at davidsmcginnis3@gmail.com and see RotarySMAMidday.org.
