Smile, You Are in San Miguel

Karaoke comes from Japan, where it has been a very popular entertainment for parties and in bars. However, karaoke is not purely a Japanese entertainment, but one very well-liked by Mexicans and by Sanmiguelenses in particular. With the word “Sanmiguelense,” we refer not only to those born here, but to all those who feel, and therefore are, sanmiguelenses.

Local people who enjoy singing come together every Friday at The Beer Company for a night of fun to release their inner diva to the rhythm of the tracks played by Annie Nicolai.

Every Friday karaoke takes place starting at 8pm. there is no admission fee and whether if you’re a singer or an amateur, you can go ahead and try a little singing with your friends. This weekly musical event is organized by the duo of Anne Nicolai and Aaron Romo, who have formed the group SMA Karaoke Club. For more information or to get involved, you can more visit the blog and upload your photos, videos, and suggestions.
