Sabor y Vida

Existing since 1920, El Manantial has continued as a refuge for the San Miguelenses. Although it still has the vibe of a typical cantina, it is very sophisticated and pleasant. The cantina bar concept works here, but a distinctive stamp comes from nautical decoration, including paintings and photographs of sensual sirens hanging on the walls.
The cocktail bar is impeccable and original. Try a ginger margarita! Micheladas are also delicious and perfect for this warm season. Besides enjoying a creative cocktail, you can opt for a wide selection of wines, tequila, mescal, and other liqueurs to keep your spirits high.
The cuisine here is mainly seafood. Great fish tacos and tostadas with ceviche and octopus (tender and tasty) are available to tempt you. In addition to the coastal Mexican specialties, also try the delicious tuna sashimi or artichoke vinaigrette. A good idea is to order several tapas to share with friends and try a little of everything.
Music is a key element. A mixture of all styles accompanies the conversation from chords by el Flaco de Oro to recent hits. This place is a must in San Miguel, located a climb of a few blocks from the Jardín.
Usually frequented by a mostly local crowd, this is a good place to meet people.
El Manantial is open Monday to Saturday from 1pm to midnight.
