SPA Puppy Extravaganza: March 12, 2016 (Part 2)

By Megan Gabel

We have even more irresistible puppies for you to meet on Puppy Extravaganza Saturday, March 12. Last week, we told you about Panda, Wilbur, and more. This week, meet Lindy, Brassy, Scout, and Harper. Remember that for this event, all puppy adoptions will be reduced from 400 pesos to 300 pesos (including vaccinations, sterilization, and deworming). Also, if you mention “Extravaganza” before March 12, we will honor the discount.

Scout is a somewhat shy, darling girl, but once she knows you, she is delighted to see you. She’s often the first one at the gate when someone arrives, but if the others are pushing through, Scout will pull back and let them be in charge. Lindy, a quiet, sweet, beautiful girl, is more outgoing than Scout, but she is often happy to be off exploring on her own. When you come to play with her, she welcomes you, enjoys getting affection, and is a soft, cuddly golden bundle. Brassy is always up for a challenge and is somewhat fearless. She doesn’t seem to realize how small she is. She takes the world by storm and always wants you to know she’s in charge! Her sister, Flecha, is quite different. She’s independent and enjoys lying in the sun on her own but doesn’t take any nonsense from the other puppies. Harper, a beautiful, mellow puppy with unusual gray and cream-colored fur, likes to cuddle and play. She’s easygoing and has a sweet disposition.

Please come and check out our puppies and take one or more home with you. You can see all our available cats and dogs on our website, www.spasanmiguel.org—the “Adopt Me” pages.

We’d love to have you volunteer at the SPA. Get in shape, build muscle tone, and increase stamina by walking dogs. Looking for less vigorous participation, but the same amount of warm, fuzzy, good feelings? Get to know our cats, kittens, and puppies. They are always eager for attention and love to cuddle. Volunteer information sheets are on the website in Spanish and English here: www.spasanmiguel.org/how-you-can-help/volunteer/. Not only will you enjoy yourself, but you will help our approximately 100 resident cats and dogs. The more people our animals get to meet, the better it is for them. Volunteer/adoption hours are 11–2, Monday–Saturday, Los Pinos 7, 152 6124. We and our resident cats and dogs look forward to meeting you at the SPA!
