Nonstop Music on One Stage
By Jesús Aguado
The power of music is back, and the view at Hacienda Picachos is included. Besides the rhythms from the north and south of the Mexico-US border, the third Magic Town Music Festival will feature the sounds of Colombia with the Timka band. This duet combines Colombian music with pop aimed to take the audience on an unforgettable journey.

Etta Britt, based in Nashville, has not only performed with Delbert MacClinton. She has also recorded her mix of soul, R&B, and blues on the CD, “Etta does Delbert.” Her songs will be included in the festival for sure.
The Magic Town Music Festival will also feature the unmistakable voice of the Texan Diva, Maylee Thomas, whose voice goes from gospel to soul, rock, and pop. Her spectacle is amazing, and her “hairography” is simply the best.
Rayland Baxter, from Nashville, TN, will perform for the first time in Mexico. Earlier, he told Atención that he recommends his songs “Yellow Eyes,” “Olivia,” and “Ghost Again.”
There will be city buses going every 30 minutes from San Francisco church to Hacienda Picachos from 11am–9pm for 10 pesos. As another means of transportation, the festival recommends Taxi Doña Mari at 152 4579. The fare will be 120 pesos. For those driving their own vehicles, there will be signs to get there. Parking is 50 pesos. Tickets are 750 pesos per person, per day. The price may increase at the door. Get your tickets at www.magictownmusic.org.
